North Coast Sound has moved to Dallas, Texas. The new studio is providing mastering and digital editing services on a limited basis. The new focus is a very small, independent record label. In the near future, we will add a storefront to the site and the ability to not only buy CDs, but also legally download quality MP3s that can be shared freely for private use. This will be based on the new Creative Commons licensing format. Artists will be able to share any or all of the songs on their album and still maintain their commercial licensing rights. As opposed to the major labels, we believe this will benefit the artist and promote sales of CDs as well. Most acts would like their music to be heard by a larger audience.
